North Facade

This is the view across the River Carew of the castle's Perrot gallery. This structure, with its many windows, would have presented a pretty picture when lighted at night, the lighted windows reflected in the river. This façade is more of a palace than a castle, and certainly projects wealth and elegance rather than strength.
